kelsea is an Artist with a passion for creativity and beauty

creating is what makes my soul light up ✨

my why

One of the greatest joys in my life is having the talent and skill to show everyone just how beautiful they are. in using these skills to show others how beautiful they are, I found my beauty, my strength and so much more.

I realize every day, I am often a small part of big life-changing events. For each wedding, baby shower, or brand launch photoshoot I get to be a part of, I am forever grateful for your trust.

I look forward to so many more big moments in 2023 and beyond

❤️ kelsea

the early days

ever since i was a little girl i loved to create with whatever i could get my hands on. you could find my first hair and makeup portfolio on the classic early 2000's game, "barbie magic hair styler".

i was never the best painter, and the best thing I can draw is a stick figure, but that just meant I hadn't found the right medium yet.

How it began

i eventually moved on from barbie and Maybelline mousse foundation in 2013 and started working at sephora. since then you could find me working in bluemercury, department stores, and for many brands throughout the years. through those jobs, i was able to work with all skin tones, types, and ages. I also met some pretty fabulous people along the way.

before I knew it i was being asked to do makeup for photoshoots,

fashion shows, weddings, and all kinds of events.

and then it started to evolve.

  • I GIVE EACH SESSION AND CLIENT MY ALL
  • MY HEALTH AND LIFE BALANCE ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO ME

  • DIVERSITY, EQUITY, ASSESABILITY AND INCLUSION ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO ME

“A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.”

the number one question I get is, how do you do it all...

and how are you so good at it all too ?!!

maybe it's ADHD, maybe I love having many skills I'm good at,

maybe it's Maybelline?

who knows, I do know how much I love my craft and I never want to stop learning about it. I want to keep growing, and learning new skills.

my mission

to make beauty ACCESSIBLE for everyone

gender, skin tone, hair texture, abilities, and societal norms have all impacted the way we view beauty

the beauty industry has a history of only catering to medium skin tones, the cosmetology programs only teach you how to work with one hair texture, and if I had a dollar for every time I heard a mom tell her son that makeup is not for boys... I....

all that to say, you can leave your foundation at home (I've got your shade I promise), you can request reasonable accommodations, and I will respect your pronouns.

the more we celebrate each other

the more beautiful this world can be

why don't you see a "before & after"?

as a client, I understand that seeing before and afters can be helpful when looking for an artist.

as an artist, I'm not willing to project the idea that you were not attractive before but I made you beautiful.

you are beautiful... period !

instead, I have included some unedited photos taken with an iPhone in natural daylight.

this way you may see how the looks may appear in everyday life.
